What is Sportsball?

Sportsball celebrates those who have never played, know little about or have a low interest in the events commonly called sports. But even if you love them we love you, as long as you will join in having fun. We celebrate, making fun of, and playing new versions of,...well, sports.

In short, it’s playing a sport but with the wrong ball. For example playing basketball with a football.

Rules, Crowns and Recognition

Sportsball rules:

Play any sport.
Use a ball not traditionally used with that sport.
If the ball is not round, the traditional bouncing rules (like in basketball) do not apply.
It is not required that Teams have the same number of players. One team may have an advantage.
Golfing is not sportsball because golf carts create danger, however using its playing sticks and balls are acceptable.
Make up your own rules but don’t enforce them.
Have fun or be disqualified

Game Suggestions:

Basketball with a football
Football with a soccer ball
Soccer with a beach-ball
Tennis using a kickball without rackets
Table tennis with a beach-ball
Any game with a small team vs a larger team

Crowns:

A double crown game combines 2 sports
A triple crown game combines 3 sports
A forthful crown game combines 4 sports
Anything else is balltastic and maybe tragic.
In all cases a ball traditionally used in any multi sportsball game cannot be used.
